Christian Writers for Life is pleased to announce our First Annual CWFL Book Award!
This April, Christian Writers for Life will honor, celebrate, and promote excellence in self-publishing and small-house publishing in our first annual CWFL Book Award.
Become a CWFL Award-Winning Author, receiving book and personal promotion, along with a slate of amazing prizes!
We have three book categories:
- Fiction Books
- Nonfiction Books
- Children’s Books
Our panel of CWFL judges will choose and announce a total of TEN (10) WINNERS:
One (1) Overall Grand Prize Winner will receive:
- A $500 cash prize
- The opportunity to have your book read and reviewed by literary agent Greg Johnson, President of WordServe Literary (many traditionally-published books began as self-published books before being picked up by traditional publishers!)
- A year of free CWFL online writing courses (8 courses of your choosing)
- 100 gold foil CWFL Book Award Winner stickers to affix to the covers of your books already in print
- A digital CWFL Book Award Winner emblem to use on your ebooks, to print and affix to your books already in print, and to print on the covers of your copies not yet in print
- 3 print endorsements of your book to use in your marketing and promotional strategy
- A promotional post announcing you as the CWFL Book Award Winning Author to use on your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, blog, website, etc.
- Promotion within our CWFL Facebook group, on our website, through our large email list, and via other social media avenues
One (1) winner from each of the three categories will receive:
- 25 gold foil CWFL Book Award Winner stickers to affix to the covers of your books already in print
- A digital CWFL Book Award Winner emblem to use on your ebooks, to print and affix to your books already in print, and to print on the covers of your copies not yet in print
- 3 free CWFL online writing courses of your choosing
- 2 print endorsements of your book to use in your marketing and promotional strategy
- A promotional post announcing you as a CWFL Book Award Winning Author to use on your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, blog, website, etc.
- Promotion within our CWFL Facebook group, on our website, through our large email list, and via other social media avenues
Three (3) additional finalists from each of the three categories will each receive:
- A digital CWFL Book Award Finalist emblem to use on your ebooks, to print and affix to your books already in print, and to print on the covers of your copies not yet in print
- A promotional post announcing you as a CWFL Book Award Finalist to use on your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, blog, website, etc.
- Promotion within our CWFL Facebook group, on our website, through our large email list, and via other social media avenues
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Each author may submit up to six (6) self-published book(s) or small publishing company book(s). If you are unsure whether your publisher qualifies, please contact us here.
- Please submit three (3) copies of each title.
- Submission Cost per title: $47 per book for members of CWFL ($79 for non-members). If you are a member of a writers' group, check with your group to see if they have a discount code available. If you are the administrator of a writers' group and would like a discount code to offer your members, please contact us.
- Submit your entry fee online and mail three (3) physical copies of your book(s) to CWFL by January 15, 2022.
- For our first annual award, any book published in the last 30 years is eligible for entry.
